Save Casper: Cover His Emergency Vet Costs
Donation protected

Hello! I am not sure what else to say here other than, Casper was a healthy 1.5-year-old Chorkie. He is best friends with my Bullmastiff Mix and the neighbor's Pit Bull. Despite only being 5 pounds, he shows those larger dogs who is boss. My children are also very close to him. He loves seeing them because they are people his size for once.
- Now for the sad stuff. On Sunday, 8/10, we noticed Casper yelping and licking his bottom. At first, we just thought he might need his glands drained, but on closer inspection, we realized there was blood on the base of the tail coming from inside him. Naturally, we rushed him to the nearest ER vet that still had room. Unfortunately, they were swamped and ended up having to keep Casper overnight. He still has not seen a doctor as of 8/11, but I am hopeful he will soon. The current goal is to cover his diagnostics and overnight stay, so I may increase it once we get the final total. Thank you for whatever you can do to help.
