Help, Save Carl Newsam's vision before it's too late

Carl is facing a medical emergency that threatens to take his eyesight permanently. He has been diagnosed with 2 severe eye conditions caused by advanced diabetic complications.

Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy (PDR) the most advanced stage of diabetic eye disease, where abnormal blood vessels grow and bleed inside the eye.

A Torn Retina, a dangerous tear in the light sensitive tissue at the back of the eye that can quickly lead to total retinal detachment and irreversible blindness.

His Dr's made it clear: Carl needs urgent surgery to save his sight, without the surgery, he would loose his vision permanently.

His treatment includes a vitrectomy, laser repair and the placement of a gas bubble to keep the retina sealed, after surgery he will need to maintain a strict face-down positioning for several days.
