For 50 years, generations of lucky boys and girls, summer vacationers in Tannersville, spent the summer at Camp Sharon.
After Rabbi Farber’s untimely passing in the summer of 2017, Mrs. Farber and Reb Dovid recommitted themselves to one more summer, but it is now time for a new generation to begin.
Mrs. Farber will be moving to Eretz Yisroel to live near Chaya and Reb Dovid and her grandchildren. Interested buyers, Binyamin and Nava Samber, are almost in contract with Mrs. Farber for the purchase of both the property and the day camp.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The sale will not go though unless an additional $45,000 towards the down payment/mortgage is raised by Sunday evening. We have highly qualified staff that are committed to camp. However our staff will not be able to commit to camp past Sunday night.
The wonderful legacy of camp Sharon will cease to exist if we can not come together to help purchase the camp grounds.
Hundreds of families have passed through Camp Sharon over the last 50 years. We are hoping that you will show your support - any amount can make a difference!
