Emergency surgery needed for injured kitty, Caillou. She needs her back left foot amputated, by tomorrow. She is currently at Calera Animal Hospital with a $343 initial diagnosis cost and we are looking at an additional $700 for the surgery. We are applying for Scratch Care Credit to cover part of it, but do not have emergency funds available yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. She is currently receiving antibiotics and pain meds until we can get the surgery funds secured. She is the sweetest girl and deserves a chance to survive this injury. She got tangled in a nylon cord and was trapped for an undetermined amount of time and the foot can not be saved. I hate to ask for help, but I don’t know what else to do.
