Save by the Bell SCIO is a Scottish registered charity (SC054527) that has been providing financial education and practical money management skills in Dundee schools for almost 20 years. During this time, we have supported thousands of children to build the skills and confidence they need to manage money responsibly.

Financial education is a crucial life skill in today’s world of increasing debt, rising living costs, and “buy now, pay later” culture. Research consistently shows that poor money management can lead to increased debt and financial stress, which can have a serious impact on mental wellbeing.

Due to recent council funding cuts, we are now in a very precarious position regarding the sustainability of the project beyond summer 2026. Without additional support, children in Dundee risk losing access to vital, early financial education at a time when it is needed more than ever.

Your support will help us develop new financial education resources and to continue deliver workshops in schools. These workshops improve financial literacy and ensure that young people are better prepared for the financial challenges they will face in the future.
