Please help us help Butterscotch, an orange tabby who roamed homeless in Alpine, CA for some time, before being found badly injured near the Alpine Library. A veterinarian determined that he has a dislocated elbow, and it will need surgery to correct the condition. It is a serious situation. He is currently in constant pain and unable to walk on the leg. He has been captured, neutered, vaccinated and determined to be two years old. Most likely he was hit by a car or suffered a fall. Without surgery, his future is not optimistic. We would like to give him a Second chance. If the leg cannot be saved, an amputation is the next step. He is also going to have be found a home or a sanctuary to live in. He was loved by many in this community. We are asking those particularly that live in Alpine, to step up and give Butterscotch (aka Buddy) another chance. It was not his fault that he had to navigate the streets on his own. Thank you
