Cesar is a special needs little one who loves his pug brother Buster very much. Buster this past week all of a sudden fell really sick. He couldn’t eat without it coming up and he shook in pain all the time. Buster’s family rushed him to the vet. That vet suggested because he was 12 years old that maybe they should let him go after checking him. They took Buster home and went to their own vet the next day which ran tests and said it was pancreatitis and sent him home on meds. Buster got worse so they went to another ER vet (the third). She took him off all meds and thought he’d get better. She thought he had a spinal embolism. He got worse. A friend of Buster’s family saw the family’s heart wrenching posts on facebook – they were afraid they were going to lose their boy, but they didn’t have more monies. After messaging Pugs for Pinky and Pug Crazy / For Pug’s Sakes Auctions jumped in to work on raising the funds. Cesar needs his best friend to get better. The family drove 1 and ½ hours late yesterday to the ER vet. They are getting him stable with IV fluids and meds so they can do an ultrasound, and run tests so they can find what treatment and help Buster needs to get better and come home. Three vets have failed this family. He’s in the ER now and they have been wonderful. We all have a lot of hope! We believe he now has the best chance of a proper diagnosis and treatment. Please donate and help save this sweet boys life. The family adopted him some years ago when he was found wondering the docks (a very skinny and not well pug). He is their boy! The sweetest little pug – he’s always happy. PLEASE ALSO SHARE – we need help. The vet needs the money today or they can't run the tests he needs.
