Bumi's surgery went well! Thank you for everyone's support. We have such amazing family and friends. Bumi had a part of his instestines removed from the blockage and he's already acting like his normal silly self.

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my lovable one year old dachshund, Bumi. Recently, Bumi started showing signs of severe stomach pain—vomiting, lethargy, and loss of appetite. After an urgent visit to the vet, we received devastating news: Bumi needs emergency stomach surgery.

The diagnosis seems to be intestinal blockage. We're not sure what caused the blockage. After mutiple blood work tests, XRay, and an ultrasound, it seems the only option is surgery. The estimated cost is $5000, which covers the operation, anesthesia, post-op care, hospital boarding and necessary medications. As much as I wish I could cover it all on my own, it’s more than I can manage right now.

Bumi is more than a pet—he’s my little baby, and a huge part of my family. He’s a sweet, silly, and loyal dachshund who brings joy to everyone he meets. He deserves a chance to keep living his happy, tail-wagging life.
