❤️ Bugsy's in need of crucial, life saving medical care, that I can't provide alone ❤️

Hello my animal loving friends,

I’m reaching out with an anxious, heavy heart as I share Bugsy's story.

I rescued Bugsy from North Central Shelter on the very day he was scheduled for euthanasia due to shelter overcapacity. He was an employee favorite and his euth date had already been postponed a few times because of how much everyone adored his gentle, loving spirit.

Bugsy is a big, stoic, tank-built, cuddle-bug, sweetheart, full of life who just wants to live and be loved.

Right now, Bugsy is facing a life-threatening emergency—a growing mass in his belly is pressing on his spleen, which could rupture the spleen.

Dr. Ameis at Paw Priority warned that if the spleen ruptures, Bugsy most likely wouldn’t survive.

We managed to get an exam and X-ray ($525) and thankfully Bugsy is otherwise a very healthy boy.

But the urgent next step is raising $2,000 for crucial diagnostics—an ultrasound, bloodwork, and medication to help prevent spleen bleeding.

These tests will determine the type of mass, and if Bugsy needs an injected medication to shrink the mass or if he requires surgery.

Unfortunately, financial assistance for treatment in Los Angeles doesn’t cover diagnostics, so I’m asking for help from anyone who can donate, share, or even just send good thoughts for Bugsy.

Any amount will make a difference and help give this sweet boy the medical care he deserves.
