We’re reaching out to you today to support Buck Wild Animal Rescue & Wildlife Rehab. Our dedicated 501(c)(3) non-profit in Ingram & Kerrville Texas is the only facility in this part of the Hill Country that provides native wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. Last night, July 15th-16th, our facility endured devastating damages due to severe flash flooding. Over half our our enclosures, facilities, feed and supplies were swept away entirely or are damaged beyond repair. This comes almost exactly one year after the catastrophic floods of July 4th last year, which we were still also recovering from.

We now face a dilemma. Our services are critical to this area, with no other permitted wildlife rescues around, we don’t want to close our doors to all the animals that need us. However, we need to seriously address the possibility of relocating, or at least serious renovation to our current property. This will be a massive task, and we can’t do it without your support.

As a nonprofit charity, your donations are tax deductible. Gifts made here will go firstly towards the urgent needs for feed and supply replacement, and then property clean up and maintenance. Funds will also be used to vet and care for the many animal patients we’ve just received due to the flooding. Funding in later stages, if we can reach our goals, could potentially be put toward the total relocation of our organization to a safe property.

We are desperate to find a way forward, for our community, and for our wildlife which is more vulnerable than ever. Help us forge this new path forward for the future of our animals.
