Save Bubba: Emergency surgery needed sweet stray cat
Donation protected

Rescue never stops. Even in your own backyard... almost 4 years ago and adult orange cat showed up in my yard. I've been taking care of him ever since. At one point, he had a hole in his neck. I'm assuming was a massive ruptured abscess. But, over time, he decided to turn in his feral card to be a sweet loving companion. His name is Bubba. He loves to be picked up and carried around like a baby. He follows me all over the neighborhood. He even tried to fight the neighbors dog because it was aggressively barking at me.
Bubba was supposed to be put up for adoption through my rescue. However, things have changed. Bubba has lost 4 pounds and is skin and bones. He stopped eating about a week and a half ago. But I can tell he's so hungry. He has ulcers in the back of his throat. He has stomatitis. Cracked teeth. He is FIV+. . Bloodwork reveals he might also have diabetes but we need further testing. Right now, we're just trying to keep him alive. Steroid shot and antibiotic shot did nothing. He needs an emergency dental surgery and tooth extractions to give him a chance. So, I had to go with the first vet who could get him in because he was suffering and starving to death. The bill is between $1400 and $1800. I had to decline radiographs because I couldn't afford them.
Bubba is a lover who now loves everyone. I have to fight for him. Maybe he can get healthy and find a forever loving indoor home.
Please donate for his emergency surgery if you can. I am not asking for donations to cover the whole bill. But anything helps. Prayers and well wishes into the universe are also imperative
