Help us save Bubba!

Bubba is our 6-month-old kitten. We fostered her for 2 months and took her into our home. She is one of the sweetest kitties you would ever meet, and has always been a huge part of our lives.

Last week, we noticed Bubba was not her usual self. When we took her in for examination, the veterinarian told us she was seriously anemic, and that she needed additional tests and an emergency blood transfusion. Right now, Bubba is undergoing additional tests to find the root of why she is not able to produce enough RBCs. We have been told it is a condition she has likely been managing for some time.

We are raising money to fund bone-marrow sampling procedures, taking place this Friday on September 13, which will hopefully diagnose her condition once and for all. We have already incurred serious costs with doctor visits, testing and hospital bills, a transfusion, and there may still be additional costs to come.

Hopefully, the diagnosis will be a cheap and treatable option, but we cannot say for certain what next steps will look like. We appreciate any help people can give, big or small in helping to get our girl a diagnosis. Thank you ♡
