Save Bruce from Leptospirosis

Hello friends and family,

Last weekend was one of the hardest weekends of my family's life. I spent my entire savings trying to save my other husky from dying and we still had to put her down due to renal kidney failure from Leptospirosis. It all happened so fast. We lost her and in the meantime Bruce had contracted the illness from her. While at Blue Pearl Animal hospital having to put our other dog Roma down we had Bruce tested to make sure because he was showing early symptoms of the disease as well. He ended up getting it from Roma and now the vet bills are piling up from only 2 days of treatment. We are not out of the woods yet as he is being treated with antibiotics and a special diet. I'm hoping we can save him with treatment because losing one dog was hard enough. Especially a healthy dog with no prior health issues at only half of her life expectancy. Bruce is almost 4 in March and he's a wonderful dog. He's a loyal friend that we adopted from an owner who could no longer care for him about 3 years ago. Every little bit helps with his vet bills and they will keep adding up. We are hoping and praying we can save him from this terrible disease. Pray for Bruce. He's all we have left.
