UPDATE 18 JULY 2024: There have been some complications with Broccoli's first surgery and he is going to need a second one. I know so many of you already donated and I appreciate your help, but if anyone could possibly help out again / didn't before -- this is literally going to be the decision between keeping him alive and putting him down.

This is Broccoli; he's my best boy. He's silly and goofy... and has a bad habit of eating things he shouldn't. While he has successfully managed to eat and process lots of things without harm (including a 2" screw), this last thing he attempted to consume did not go so well and has ended with an obstruction that needs urgent surgery for him to survive. We don't have an exact quote for the surgery yet, but we are definitely looking "in the thousands," per the vet, and I currently do not have that sort of money, since it's summer time and paychecks don't start back until the fall.

Anything you can do to help out this cute little pupper's life (and myself) is greatly appreciated!

~$350 -- post-care medications and dressings

$3500 -- surgery (dependent on ultrasound findings)
