Save Brandon’s Arm

Hi. My name is Bailey, and I'm fundraising for my boyfriend Brandon. If you don't happen to know Brandon well, he is an incredible photographer with a passion for cars, and is one of the most motivated and determined people I have ever met. Most importantly, he is the sort of person who is unfailingly sweet and kind. But right now, Brandon needs the help and kindness of others.

On Saturday April 29th Brandon was on vacation with friends in Mexico. Having misplaced his phone earlier in the day, Brandon took an all-terrain utility vehicle out in the evening to retrace his steps and track the phone down. Without warning the vehicle’s wheels seized, causing the nearly two-thousand pound ATV to roll. Brandon’s left arm had been resting on the vehicle’s door while driving, resulting in three inches of his forearm being completely crushed by the ATV’s roll bar as it tumbled. Brandon was by himself at the time of the accident. Fortunately his screams for help were heard by a couple passing by and an ambulance was called. Brandon received first aid at the hospital in Mexico but had to endure six hours of pain before being transported back to the U.S. border. Arriving in Arizona, it was decided he needed helicopter medevac due to the seriousness of his injuries.

Brandon is fortunate to be alive. Arteries in his arm had been severed, muscles torn, nerves damaged, skin shredded, and bone crushed. It took over twelve hours after the initial accident before Brandon was able to get into an operating room. Miraculously, Brandon will not lose his arm, and has even retained the ability to move and feel with the fingers in his left hand. Unfortunately this is only the start of his road to recovery. More surgeries, skin grafts, and physical therapy will be needed, all of which comes with growing expenses.

I know that Brandon is the sort of person who will fight and work hard to recover from this, but it will take time and a lot of effort. Any help you can contribute to covering his medical expenses would be deeply appreciated.
