Hi, my name is Nicole, and Im fundraising to save my baby dog, Boo.

Boo isn’t just a pet—she’s family. She’s my emotional support animal, my protector, and my children’s best friend. She’s the one who curls up with me when life feels too heavy and the one who brings so much joy to my kids every single day.

Boo’s life hasn’t been easy. I adopted her at 10 months old from someone who kept her in a kennel 24/7. She had to eat, pee, and poop in the same cramped space, and instead of bathed she was simply hosed off. From the moment I brought her home, I promised her a better life—and in return, she’s given me love, protection, and comfort I never thought I’d find. I saved her, and she’s saved me too. After loosing my 2 dogs due to smoke inhalation in 2022 when my house caught fire I haven't been able to connect with another dog as much as I do Boo. She reminds me of them. And I need to save her.

Three months ago, Boo had surgery for a rectal prolapse. We thought she was healing, but now it’s happened again. On top of that, she’s started vomiting, likely from a blockage in her intestines after ingesting something she couldn’t pass. This combination is life-threatening.

Without immediate veterinary care—imaging, surgery, hospitalization, and medications—Boo may not survive. The costs are overwhelming, with estimates reaching several thousand dollars, and I simply cannot afford it on my own. Especially under the circumstances of our life right now we are forced to move out of our home, drowning in over due bills and I simply don't have a dime. Times are really hard.

I am asking for help to give Boo the chance to keep living the happy, safe life she deserves. She means the world to me and my family, and I can’t imagine my babies losing their best friend. And I can't fathom losing another dog.
