Florence has always had a soft spot for animals, but her compassion truly shined when she discovered a group of homeless dogs living near her community. Over six months ago, Florence began visiting the area twice a day, bringing food, fresh water, and treats to the dogs she lovingly named Blue, Scarlett, Lady, Mama Bear, Baby Bear, and Little One. She quickly became their lifeline, ensuring they were fed, cared for, and never felt alone. Florence’s dedication didn’t stop there. She worked out an agreement with the landowner to set up donated dog houses, giving the dogs much-needed shelter. In return, she keeps the area clean and safe. Florence’s goal is to keep the dogs out of animal control’s reach, as she fears they might be euthanized. With rescues over capacity and fosters hard to find, Florence is doing everything she can to give these dogs a chance at a better life.

Scarlett gave birth to puppies at this time appears to be five. They will be a month old next week. We are raising funds to provide spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and essential vet care for the pack and new pups. Your support will also help us with essentials on their new fenced in property to be able to provide what they need to stay comfortable also to provide the dog’s and puppies food expenses, and maintaining the property by trying to hire a lawn maintenance.
