Bloom needs your help
This is about my lovely emotional support animal cat, Bloom. My beautiful, sweet, and well-behaved princess, that is always by my side, is suddenly facing a very rare disease. My heart aches, and the pain of seeing her like this is unbearable. She is so young, only 2 years old.
It all started on March 11, 2026. I went to the doctor because she was off/down lately, also limping, which went away in two days. The doctor examined her and ran some blood tests, and all came back negative. During the next 15 days, I noticed she gradually reduced eating, first dry food, and then wet food. I went back to the doctor, more tests were performed, X-rays this time, and they found something in her belly, like a mass, and named it GI lymphoma (a type of Cancer). This could not be possible, so we did the biopsy, and the results were totally different. She has a very rare Mycobacterial Infection, and I have no idea where my baby got that. She lives like a Queen, and I always prioritize her, even though I have nothing. The better news is that this bacterial infection is completely curable but expensive. Her condition is life-threatening and requires immediate intervention. She seems weaker every day.
Total cost to treat a feline mycobacterial infection is overwhelming, often ranging from $2,000 to over $10,000 USD, due to the need for long-term, specialized care. Treatment requires a cocktail of 2-3 antibiotics given for 6–12 months or longer, with high costs for diagnostics, regular examinations, and potential surgery to remove infected tissue.
By donating, you can help her survive this hard challenge and provide her playful self back. Your funds will cover veterinary bills, surgeries, and medications. As a struggling single parent, I cannot manage the high costs alone. If you can help Bloom, we would be forever grateful.
