UPDATE: Bird was doing better yesterday, but unfortunately Once they removed the catheter he reblocked immediately and they couldn’t express the blockage, so bird now needs to go into surgery. This will add about $4000 to the original vet bill. This situation has become a little dire, and every minute they wait for surgery is critical. PLEASE help, and please share.
My cat, Bird, is currently in the hospital with a urinary blockage. It’s going to cost $2500-3500 to treat him. Without treatment, Bird will die.
If you know me at all, you know how special this little cat is to me. If you’ve had the pleasure of meeting Bird, you know firsthand just what a very unique cat he is. When I first found him at the humane society, one of the tech’s told me he was “aggressively affectionate”, and I don’t think there is a more apt description of this little guy. Anyone that meets Bird falls in love with him. He has such a fun personality. The second you pick him up, he purrs intensely and makes little “air biscuits”. I have never met a sillier, more affectionate, or unique cat than Bird.
If you can, PLEASE help me cover the cost to treat baby bird.
