this is my cat binx. he’s the most fun loving, energetic, sociable cat you’ll ever meet. he’s my soul tie; he has saved me from so much. i love him dearly and can’t imagine a world where i’m without him- or he’s without me. he’s suffered urinary problems in the past- each time breaks my bank- same time last year i spent 2,500 on a surgery to remove crystals from his urine. around 8pm on new year’s day- he comes into the living room of my house crying in pain- i checked his stomach for pits (hard urinary stones in his bladder) but couldn’t feel for anything. when u turned him over he let out the most blood curdling scream. i thought i broke him. i started to think it was a spinal injury- just from how he was putting pressure on his hind legs- the vets were closed so i stayed up all night with him - kept him in a dog cage to monitor his movement and litter box usage. he could not urinate- he also could not put any pressure on his hind end. eventually i let him out of the dog cage because he started to climb up it- and cry to be let out. so i put all my other animals away in seperate rooms, and i stayed up all night in the living room w him. i take him to the vet today (1-2-26) and they confirmed he had a bladder stone blocking his urethra. his stomach is tight- which they said could be a reason in his hind legs hurting. he’s never had one this bad, and i’m afraid it’s going to really hurt him. even though i don’t have the funds, i took him to the vet and agreed that he needed surgery- and an overnight stay. the highest estimate is 1,900 - so about 2000 dollars. i know some vets are a lot more expensive when it comes to the care that my boy needs; i’m very thankful it’s not anymore than that. but i just don’t have the money. i’ve tried carecredit- but i’ve never been approved. anything will help- even if it’s just 10 cents. i just need help with my baby.
