Urgent Appeal for Action: Save Biafra Children and Women from Genocidal killings and Nigeria Government sponsored Violence:
Since the end of the British-sponsored Nigeria genocidal war against Biafra that took the lives of over 5 million Biafrans from 1967-70, the Nigeria government has continued to use the military and other security outfits to massacre Biafrans. They indiscriminately kill and burn down homes. Those that escape being massacred are rendered homeless. Women and children are rendered homeless. Young and old men are abducted and killed or incarcerated indefinitely. The situation has led to Biafra agitating for freedom again and fighting for self-preservation, hence our quest for an independent homeland. In most places of the world, when people agitate for independence, they usually get negotiators seeking ways to address any perceived injustices precipitating the agitation. But in our case, the Nigerian government instead of sending negotiators, sent terrorists, military tanks, and aircrafts that invade communities and kill people indiscriminately. Nigeria government unleashed the military to occupy Biafra land, a situation that has caused a dire humanitarian emergency. Biafrans, especially women and children are deprived of essential life supplies, especially water, food, and medicine.
The goals of this appeal are: 1) to create international awareness about the dire humanitarian crisis in Biafra land because the Nigerian government censors the news and the Western media has refused to cover the ongoing genocide and associated humanitarian disaster; 2) to raise funds for essential supplies for Biafran women and Children; and 3) to provide shelter for internally displaced Biafrans.
