Hi, I’m Francesca, and I’m asking for help to save my cat, Betty Boop.

She’s not just a pet—she’s my shadow, my best friend, and the sweetest, weirdest, most loving creature I’ve ever known. She’s helped me through years of grief and loss. Now it’s my turn to fight for her.

This past week, Betty suddenly stopped eating and turned yellow with jaundice. She was rushed to the vet, where they found signs of a serious liver issue—possibly triaditis (a dangerous inflammatory condition affecting the liver, pancreas, and intestines). She’s been hospitalized since Saturday receiving IV fluids, antibiotics, and now steroids. She just underwent surgery to have a feeding tube placed.

Her survival is uncertain—but she’s showing signs that she wants to fight.

She’s only four years old. She sleeps by my side, follows me from room to room, and greets me at the door. She’s family. And she wants to come home.
