Thank you everyone for taking the time out of your day to take a look at our page. Some of you may remember Bernie from 2020 when he was first diagnosed with cancer.
About 4 years ago, Bernie developed a tumor in his jaw that required several surgeries and rounds of radiation. Thankfully, the tumor was removed and he has been in remission since January 2021. However, a new cancerous tumor has recently appeared in his mouth. According to his doctors, he has a good chance of staying with us if he undergoes surgery and chemotherapy treatments. These treatments are expensive, but we will fight for our Bernie, as he has fought to stay with us all this time.
Bernie is a warrior and has been through a lot in these last few years of his life. However, that hasn’t changed him from being the most loving, hilarious, and happy dog that has filled our lives with joy for all of these years. He is a blessing to our family and we strongly believe he will overcome this.
We're asking friends, family, fellow dog lovers, and anyone that can help in any way. No donation is too small and all is greatly appreciated. We will be posting updates on Bernie’s status as he makes it through these tough times. Again, thank you for taking the time to check out our story, we really appreciate it.
With love,
Bernie’s family
