Save Benny: Support His Life-Saving Treatment

My dog Benny was rescued from the unthinkable, a meat market in China.

He was one of the lucky few flown to the U.S. after narrowly escaping slaughter. When I adopted him, he was terrified, shut down, and covered in scars. But with time, love, and gentle care, he transformed into the sweetest, funniest, most loyal little soul I’ve ever known.

Benny became my everything and I promised him the rest of his life would be peaceful.

But Benny was diagnosed with a rare, life-threatening autoimmune disease called IMHA (Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia) a condition where the body attacks its own red blood cells. He nearly died. I spent my entire savings to save him, maxed out my care credit and asked for help wherever I could and he miraculously, he made it through!

But an infection recently triggered a relapse and his red blood cell count dropped again and he needs a blood transfusions to keep him alive but I’m out of financial options and recently lost my job so I'm not brining in income at the moment.

Benny has already been through so much.

He deserves a life filled with comfort not needles, not fear, and certainly not an ending that comes because I couldn’t afford to keep going.
