Save Becca’s Beans

Welcome to my fundraiser! My name is Rebecca Uerling and I’ve found myself in quite the medical pickle. You see, my kidneys don’t work right, in fact they’re failing. I have End Stage Renal Disease and am on PD dialysis at home. 

I also have IgA Nephropathy which is an autoimmune disease that causes my immune system to attack my kidneys instead of or alongside any ickiness that enters my system.

In short, ya girl is slowly slipping from this plane and needs your help in sticking around much longer. Medical bills pile up and I also need a new kidney. I set the goal very low for now, as a starter, so I can pay off the rest of my biopsy bills and some kidney doctor bills that have piled up.

Whenever I am able to finally find a kidney, then I will need much more.

I will be eternally grateful for anyone who can donate even just a little bit. Or anyone who is interested in applying to be a living donor would literally be saving my life. I’m going through UT Southwestern for my transplant.

Every little bit helps. Every share. Every dollar. All of it. Asking for help and being this vulnerable is absolutely not my strong suit, but I’m asking now. I will die if I don’t ask.
