Save Bebba's Life: Urgent Medical Care

Hi, my name is Isaac Franco, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. In 2022, I found a tiny, frightened cockatiel alone on the streets of New York City. She had no band, no signs of an owner—just a lot of fear and fluff. I took her in, gave her the name Bebba, and promised her a safe, loving home.

Bebba quickly became my little companion. She sings when I get home, nuzzles into my neck, and fills my apartment with life and joy. But recently, I noticed something was wrong—her foot was swollen and she was barely standing. I rushed her to the vet, and the diagnosis broke me: Bebba has a severe bacterial infection in her leg. It’s advanced, and if left untreated, it could cost her her life or her limb.

The vet recommended testing, medication, and potentially surgery. The total cost is beyond what I can manage on my own. I live alone in NYC, and like so many of us, I’m struggling just to keep up with regular bills. But Bebba is family—I can’t give up on her.
