Meet Beau — our sweet, one-and-a-half-year-old Australian Cattle Dog and the heart of our family. He’s full of energy, love, and personality. Beau makes us laugh every day with his goofy antics and brings so much joy into our home.

Unfortunately, on Thursday, October 16th, Beau was hit by a car. We rushed him to the emergency vet, where we learned that he had a broken leg and a concussion. He also suffered severe road rash and temporarily lost movement on the left side of his body. Beau spent the night at the emergency clinic under close watch to make sure he didn’t have internal bleeding — thankfully, he pulled through without any!

Now, Beau needs surgery to repair his leg — otherwise, amputation may be our only option. We have a short window of time to raise the funds for his surgery. So far, we’ve already spent $4,000 in vet bills to stabilize him, and he’ll continue to need new casts every two weeks (each one costs around $300) while we try to save his leg.

We’re doing everything we can for our boy, but we can’t do it alone. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a huge difference in helping Beau heal and keep his leg. Even sharing this GoFundMe means the world to us.
