Save Bear: Urgent Surgery Needed for Our Puppy

I got him from a friend of mine when he was 4 months old. He’s a very good dog, very loving, great with kids, full of energy, very smart, and a great family dog…

Recently, out of nowhere, his face started to swell on one side very badly, so we took him in for an ear infection. We ended up paying almost $500 for that one visit.

The swelling went down and everything was good for a minute, he was back to normal. Suddenly, it came back but this time way worse.

We ended up taking him again and they couldn’t do anything because the swelling was so bad to the point it was blocking him from breathing. They gave us antibiotics and told us they will need to do surgery next visit, but the swelling has to go down first.

(This Was Huge it was hard for him to breathe at this point & he would hardly eat due to swollen tounge, loss of spirit no sign of happiness you can see the pain and sadness in his eyes)

The next morning we woke up to feed him and walked him to the kitchen and all of a sudden he rolled over and started bleeding pus and blood all over. We had to get as much as we could out with vet approval. They told us to keep it clean and compressed and told us to just monitor him so he doesn’t bleed out.

They told us that when we do bring him back in for a check up they will need a sample of the blood/pus to determine the cause of this once the swelling goes down , they are thinking he may need surgery and it could be quite expensive.

Without Surgery this could come back over and over again & could be Fatal causing Severe Respiratory Issues & He might not make it if we don’t do something.

This is a very serious reality we are faced with and we are trying to do whatever it takes to keep him alive that’s all and if we fail that’s something really hard to live with because he completes our family, My kids will be devastated if we were to lose him , My 2 other dogs already show anxiety from the situation..

My kids really love him, but unfortunately it’s going to be hard to afford too high of a price. It’s not like we have extra and don’t want to spend it, we just literally don’t have it. We are trying to do our best to come up with anything so he can live a longer life, he’s just a puppy.
