Hi everyone,

Two days ago, my second child, my fur baby Baxter, somehow got into the trash and ate almost a dozen chicken wing bones and a paper towel with grease on it. Yesterday, he started throwing up and lost his appetite. A few times throughout the day, he would yelp in pain and then just stop. So, I took him to his vet, got him some X-rays, and it came back that he had an obstruction in his intestines they were concerned about. They said we could give him some fluids and nausea medication to try and calm his stomach and see if it was able to pass into the colon by this morning.

After bringing him home and trying to keep him hydrated and comfortable, we woke up this morning, and he seemed to be a little more energetic. We went back to the vet for follow-up X-rays. Unfortunately, the obstruction has not even budged, and Baxter was taken into emergency surgery.

I'm not one who likes to ask for help. I'm not one who wants to admit that I need help, but if you know me, and you know Baxter, you know why this is so important to me. He has gotten me through so many times of struggle throughout the last 6 years we've been together. I cannot imagine being without him. He's a young, loving, happy dog. With that being said, if you could please help me raise funds to keep my baby alive, I will be forever grateful. They estimated surgery to be $3,808.00. Even if you can only contribute $1.00, that still will make a difference.
