I, a Vet Tech in NorCal Bay Area, brought Bacardi home March 30th of this year, seemingly healthy & definitely happy, showing no signs of illness but on May 14th she had her first of 6+ “episodes”. On July 29th Cardi’s lab results came back & We confirmed with CT scans that this is an operable liver shunt- surgery is the only option. With a relatively high success rate & a future FREE of illness, we intend to proceed with surgery. As I am a tech, I do get discounts but I still need help. Diagnosing her took nearly $1,000 which I am still paying off, and she needs close to 5k for surgery and even more for after care. My father has also been in and out of the ICU for two months so funds are extremely limited, but Bacardi’s life cannot be put on any back burner so I am asking for any help that I can get to save my girl.
