If you’ve met me, you have heard about Nug (legal name Ari), the fat baby princess who is the love of my life. In July 2012, a touring band found a little female calico kitten crying in the street outside the Rogue Bar. That kitten came home in my purse and has been my reason for existing ever since, getting me through all of the hardest times of my life. Now it’s my turn to do the same for her, and I need your help.

Last year, Nug was diagnosed with bladder stones, which she was put on medication for. This week, she went back to the emergency vet for not eating, drinking, major lethargy. $1300 in testing and treatment later, we still aren’t sure what the issue is--but most likely it's an extremely life-threatening condition called pyometra. The good news is that the emergency surgery for this condition has a 97% success rate. The Bad news is that it’s extremely expensive, treatment is needed immediately, and I’ve already tapped all of my personal resources. If she isn't treated immediately, the chances for survival are extremely low, and the bacterial infection will most likely kill her in days rather than weeks.

This is my little baby angel daughter and she is worth more than all of the money in the world to me. I would sell my body on the street and my soul to the devil before I would let her suffer or die unnecessarily, but I would much prefer to not take those routes, which is why I’m asking for your help.
