Dear friends,
As many of you may know, we recently brought home a little Alaskan Klee Kai puppy who has quickly become the star member of our family. We named him Miso, meaning "smile" in Korean because he was immediately a bundle of energy and joy.

Yesterday, Miso suddenly started vomiting, and when we rushed him to the hospital, they told us that he had inhaled some of the vomit into his lungs, causing pulmonary edema and inability to breathe on his own. Because Miso was wheezing and visibly struggling, we had no choice but to hospitalize him overnight where he is still working to recover in an oxygen cage.

Because Miso is only 14 weeks old, it is crucial that he remains in the oxygen cage for the next few days to recover fully from this damage to his lungs. However, as seen by the invoices attached below, the hospital bills are immensely expensive and after only 24 hours of emergency care, our available funds are rapidly declining.

Though we know that this is a tough time for all, we ask for help in paying for the treatment that Miso needs to make a full recovery. A donation of any size or amount would be so greatly appreciated and would go directly towards Miso's treatment at the emergency pet hospital.
Please don't donate if you're having hardships in paying for living expenses! We just ask that, for those of you who might have a couple dollars to spare, you might consider donating for Miso. Also, we know that there are so many other extremely important places to donate right now (i.e. BLM movement, crisis in Yemen) and we definitely think that those should take precedence. That being said, any amount would be so helpful to us and we really appreciate you taking the time to read this!!!!
