Baby Bun Emergency Medical Bills

Hello, thank you for coming here! My name is Ember, and this is my darling little girl named "Baby Bun," because she is my baby, tiny and cute as a bun! She is my best friend and my world and has been there for me since I adopted her as a kitten old enough to leave her mother. She is just over ten years old now and is absolutely the sweetest little kitty <3
Baby Bun is in Blue Pearl Emergency Pet Hospital specialized care right now being treated for diabetic ketoacidosis and liver issues. She is holding on, fighting for her life. The care cost for the specialized hospital she needs exceeds what I am capable of covering fully, and we need help to save her life!
2024 was one of the toughest years ever for me. In March, I began to have very concerning heart problems, tossing me in and out of the ER and hospitals frequently. In April, I lost my grandfather. In September, I became so weak I could barely get out of bed or sit up, and in August, I thought I was going to die. I lost my uncle on Halloween, and the very next day, my father also died, and I will be burying him this spring. I don't want to lose my best friend and baby too! She was there with me through all of that, and I thought her care was great because she was doing great, but as you may know, cats are masters at hiding any health issues. I started her on wet food at the beginning of this year to help her have more nutritious food and be better for her diabetes, and she seemed to love it at first. But then I noticed she was eating less and less food. I tried to prepare her food in different ways to entice her to eat and even offered her favorite kibble that she goes nuts for, but she even turned away from that. When she stopped eating entirely and vomited up her food, I took her in to get treated, but she is in critical state, and they are struggling to get her blood sugars to stabilize, and her liver and pancreas are both showing signs of illness and damage.
I took her to her normal vet first, which was over $500. Then we escalated to emergency care, hoping they could bring her back, and that was another $3,000. The emergency vets could not provide her the specialized care she needed, so I rushed her to the pet specialist Blue Pearl Pet Hospital, and her care cost there has exceeded $10,500, bringing Baby's total medical bills to $14,000. This is just to give her life-saving care treatment, not including costs to help her recover when she pulls through this or her medicine after. Since being sick since March, and with so much loss, I was already struggling with debt, but Baby Bun is my whole world now after so much loss, any help with her bills would mean so much to me and help with our struggles. Thank you so much for reading this, and for your help if you donated! From the bottom of my heart, Baby Bun and I thank you. I just wish everyone could meet my sweet little girl; she gives the best cuddles and is the cutest.
