Save Bee: Urgent Medical Help Needed
Donation protected
I’m sharing Bees story on behave of my daughters and their dad.
- Bee was tragically hit by a car and in need of medical attention that is beyond what they can afford to save her. She needs to be in a 24/7 care vet facility in hopes of a full recovery.
she was found on the side of the road after who knows how long after being hit and nobody stopped to see if she was okay or to contact her owner (on her dog tag). Someone stopping could have maybe saved her from the infections she’s battling or some blood she lost. She has a broken jaw, hips, leg, a mangled foot, along with many many scrapes, and a 8 in gash in her side.
after being rushed to the closest vet she then got transferred to the closest 24 hour vet for further evaluation.
unfortunately she’s going to need to be moved to Columbus, Ohio for there 24 hour care facility. Rj works 12 hour days and can’t afford as it is to take off days to help her in her recovery as she would need. She needs this medical help to hopefully survive.
we are asking for help for this unfortunate circumstance and we pray we can get B the care she deserves and needs.
we want to thank you in advance to anyone that donates and or shares this story.
and remember please if you find yourself in this position even if it’s a accident, stop your car and check on the pet. Some animals are more than just a pet. They are family.
Update: Bee had surgery this morning on her broken jaw and to remove all the infection from her wounds and to be stitched up. She is in a 24 hour vet facility to ensure she makes it through the night. She will be able to come home in the morning and will have another vet appointment Monday to figure out the next steps. Please please please keep praying and sharing her story. This was only the first hurtle of her recovery. She has the longest road ahead of her. We couldn’t be more grateful of all the donations so far, so words can’t even express it.
Update on May 1st: she has been home resting since the A.M. her right leg seems to be swelling quite a bit so we have contacted the vet for further instructions. Will continue to update but just wanted to share where we’re at in this recovery process. It may mean more 24 hour stays which will just continue to rack up in bills so every last donation matters tremendously. She got a visit from the kids today which I think made her extremely happy. She wagged her tail so much which is a great sign.
