My name is Jacqui.... I am trying to raise funds for my amazing pup, Avery. Yesterday evening 04/13/2026 she was accidentally ran over by a truck that caused severe damage to her whole body, but more importantly to her left hind leg. It is completely dislocated to the point that surgery is now required. The best course of action for her after talking with a surgeon is to amputate her leg. While I would sacrifice anything to save her leg, I do not have the money and this was so completely unexpected that I am having a hard time coming to terms with it. Avery is currently MSU for wound treatment. They want to do her surgery tomorrow (04/15/2026) but the expense is high and I am not sure I can afford all of it. They gave me a quote which was for $8,000 to $10,000. They require half down based on the high end of the quote, so $5,000.00 and the balance once she is ready to be picked up. Once surgery has finished she will then be in the hospital for another 4 days to recover and watch her. I am never one to ask for help but I can't lose my baby and I would do anything for her, so I am asking anyone if you have a spare dollar or two, if you could help I would be greatly appreciated for anything.
