For everyone who knows me, you know how important my baby Ashley is to me. For anyone that’s been able to get to know Ashley, you know that she is the sweetest angel you can meet. My poor baby is in the hospital right now for what is suspected to be a stomach ulcer. We gave her ONE proper dose of doggy aspirin Saturday night for pain she was having. On Monday morning, she threw up an alarming amount of coagulated blood. We took her to the vet and they gave her some medication and a nausea injection. That evening, she rapidly lost physical function. She could hardly walk and she was completely out of it. By the morning, she couldn’t even stand on her own and wouldn’t move. We rushed her to the vet again and they instructed us to take her to the emergency vet. Upon evaluation, she was suspected to have a stomach ulcer from the aspirin which caused her to become dangerously anemic. Ashley urgently needed a blood transfusion if she was going to survive. The vet has a positive outlook for Ashley, but ONLY if we continue the treatment she needs. Unfortunately, treatment is extremely expensive. I wouldn’t be able to forgive myself if I didn’t give her proper treatment, especially with such a good prognosis from the vet, but it is impossible to afford on my own. Ashley has an otherwise healthy life and is only 6 years old. She is my soul doggy and I am not ready to say goodbye. I am only here out of desperation, for any help I can get for Ashley. This all happened so quickly and unexpectedly. Even if financial contribution isn’t an option, sharing would mean the world to me. Please help me save Ashley
