Save Aria from Abuse: Donate for Legal Aid

I come to you today because there’s an extremely urgent situation. My friends three year-old daughter was physically assaulted on Christmas Day by her mother’s new girlfriend where she is forced to live. This person, this drug dealer, who her mother has run off from her home to be with is a violent, serial domestic abuser, alcoholic, and drug addict. She has severely beaten every person she’s been with for the last 15 years and now she’s moved on to assaulting three year-old children and bragging about it while doing it. Not only that, after beating my friend’s child and beating his child’s mother unconscious, kicking her in the head, punching her in the face on Christmas Day, that wasn’t enough. She then fabricated text messages and had my friend arrested for the assault that she committed. That was two months ago.

THE FAMILY COURT SYSTEM IS BROKEN. In this case it’s even worse because this alcoholic abusive monster also just happens to be a precinct chair of the local Austin Democratic party. In what world and in what other time in history would we as Americans allowed something like this to continue? Look at just how far we have fallen as a country when the most vulnerable, innocent, bright, and loving amongst us are forced to be kept under the control of a violent, alcoholic, drug dealing monster. Every single day my friend has to wake up, and we all have to wake up, with the realization that any day may be the day that we get the call and find out that Aria is dead and she’s been beaten to death by the same monster that assaulted her on Christmas Eve.

Please give what you can and only if you can. All donations will go towards legal expenses to try and bring Aria back home to her loving father and family. If you can’t donate money then consider donating your time by contacting Texas CPS, Texas state senators, the governor or anyone else and letting them know that you are watching. Let them know that sweet innocent little Aria Raye Johnson who is in grave danger and under constant threat of bodily harm WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN!
