Animal Rescue Sydney Ltd (also known as Rescue Cat Crew) is a non-profit ACNC Registered Australian Charity. We pride ourselves on being a no-kill rescue - we don’t put any time limits on the animals in our care.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
100% of all donations go towards rescuing, caring for and rehoming helpless & homeless animals.
Animal Rescue Sydney was established in 2021 by a group of animal lovers who were saving abandoned, injured, stray and sick animals! Our rescued cats in care became known as the Rescue Cat Crew on social media and gained a substantial following.
We are run by a team of passionate volunteers who are passionate about animal welfare, and who volunteer their time and energy generously.
We work with other rescue groups and charities to care for animals and help them find their furrever homes! We believe that all animals deserve a second (third, fourth, fifth etc) chance. We do all that we can to help every animal thrive and find a home that is perfect for them (no matter how long it takes)!
Unfortunately, the costs have been growing and we need YOUR HELP! Currently, we are mostly paying costs out of our own pockets.
We have had several emergency situations which has increased our vet bills to $20,000 AUD.
We currently have 30 cats and 1 dog in care. We also get contacted about several stray, surrender and sick animals every week! However, without donations we unfortunately are unable to take in any more animals ☹️

Over the years, we have rescued and re-homed cats, dogs, rabbits, tortoises ,lizards, mice, chickens and a piglet.
