Save Angel: Our Fur Baby Needs You

Hi,

We're Michelle and Greg, Angel's fur mom and dad. Angel was rushed to the emergency vet today due to difficulty breathing. Turns out, he had a buildup of fluid in and around his lungs. Further testing shows that he did not have enough white blood cells to fight against the bacteria/infection. The doctor drained as much fluid as they can to make him comfortable. Through an X-ray, they found that he may have some sort of mass in his lung that is causing the infection. Next steps are a CT scan, chest tubes, and possible surgery. We're here asking for additional help as we're running out of options. Estimated costs are anywhere between $9k-$25k. We just bought a house in December 2024, and are now expecting our first child in December 2025. So funds are in limbo. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. No amount is too little. We are never the type to ask for help; we're typically the type to pay it forward, but we're in a tight spot and Angel is our best friend and family. He's only 4/5 years old.
