Hey friends, family, and friends we haven't met yet,

 

We have had quite the 48 hours of vet visits, being turned down and everything in the middle. Our sweet little ESA (emotional support animal) Anakin (1.5 years old) was not acting normal the past few days. We got him into a vet, who directed us to the Emergency room due to liver concerns, and it has only been getting worse. We now know he has an enlarged heart, fluid in the lungs after attempting to hydrate him, an unknown issue with his liver, and potentially pancreatitis. Updates are still coming in. We have little Anakin in 24 hour care right now, he is on Level 5, which means eyes on him 24/7.

 

As we learn more, there is a great potential for more required tests, possibly more nights in intensive care and a long road of recovery. WE are not giving up on our little Jedi.

 

First, I would ask anyone who sees and reads this to send good energy his way, keep him in your prayers and thoughts. I personally have never been around or have met such a loving, social and sweet cat, if you have had the pleasure to meet him you know what I mean.

 

Secondly, if you are in a position to, please help us with any donation. The smallest amount is more than enough and will be received with great gratitude. I know many of us out there know the expenses that come along with vet visits, especially overnight stays/emergency situations so we are asking for any help from our friends and family to help us get him home healthy and ensure he gets the care he deserves.

We love our little Anakin and hope to spend many many more joyful years with him around. He is a fighter and a greater lover, he needs us right now❤️
