Good day to all who read my family friend's story.  I thank you profusely from the bottom of my heart that you have taken the time to take interest in what is happening to my friend Cecilia Perez's health. 

My family and I have been hoping that her health gets better; however, we have been told she will need a tumor removed from her nasal cavity.  This tumor has obstructed one side of her nostril 100% and blocked the right side 30%.   Her time is limited, without surgery she will certainly die.  She knows that her situation is critical; however, she has been given the option of surgery with blood transfusions.  She has chosen to follow her conscience of rejecting the treatment the public hospital has offered and going with a bloodless option.  This would ensure her health and give her a clean conscience due to her personal convictions.  We support her choices and respect them.  We hope that you will also support our friend in helping her get this needed surgery so that she can have a prolonged life and the ability to continue to give us her loving company and sharing great experiences.  She loves life and wants to prolong it in the most positive way, including giving her time and energy to volunteer services.  She writes letters to neighbors and many unknown folks to give them hope for a better future and a grim of happiness among so much suffering, specially now with Covid-19.  Due to this virus, her family has lost their jobs and are unable to raise the needed funds to cover the 10K surgery.  So far they have been able to raise 1K.  Her plans are to pay for her surgery and use any remaining funds to help others with needed provisions to survive this lack of work and money for food.

My family has been looking for ways to also raise funds among friends and family.  This has proven difficult since many have lost jobs and currently we are all helping each other to survive.  We need your help.  Not only do we hope for our friend Cecilia to get better but we also hope that all folks are able to survive these tough times and stay safe and virus free.  No matter how much we are able to raise, what we appreciate is not just your donation but your time in thinking about our friend Cecilia.  She is a wonderful lady and an example to us all young folks that don't always weigh out what is most important in life versus the easy way out.
