Assalamualaikum! My name is Iliana or ili. I'm a Chicana Humanitarian Activist from Texas and formerly an Influencer prior Oct 7. I've helped many families in Gaza and those who are displaced in Egypt through fundraising efforts. I am launching this campaign on for Dr. Mohammed Khattab, an 81-year-old Senior Citizen in Gaza, Palestine. He and his children are in urgent need of essential resources to sustain themselves during this war. Please check my instagram @iligummies for any updates on his campaign.

I am Dr. Mohammed Khattab, 81 years old, born in 1945. I hold a PhD in Biochemistry from Germany and worked as a lecturer and professor in several Arab and international universities. Since 1995, I taught at Al-Azhar University in Gaza in the Faculties of Pharmacy, Medicine, and Applied Medical Sciences. After my retirement in 2010, I continued teaching part-time at Palestine University until October 7th, when 90% of life’s necessities in Gaza were destroyed. The devastating war and starvation continue to this day.

Despite my long years of service in education, I have not received any pension, leaving me and my family of six children (two sons and four daughters) in extremely difficult conditions. We rent a single room for $300 per month, with several months of unpaid rent, in addition to our urgent need for food and basic necessities.

Like many families in Gaza, especially those without salaries, my family is suffering greatly. Today, we are in urgent need of support and assistance, and we extend our deepest gratitude to all who stand with us.

I am older than the illegal Zionist entity itself, having survived four Nakbas: 1948, 1967, 1973, and the ongoing genocide today. At just three years old, I lost my father, uncle, and brother to Zionist forces. Despite all these tragedies, I remain steadfast and resilient.

Delivering the funds:

I will personally deliver the funds to Dr. Khattab through his Paypal or any payment method that is available to him at the time but will be transferring it to his bank.

How the funds will be spent:

The funds will be spent for food, clothes, clean drinking water and medicine. For those who are just learning about this war, you need to know that there is no life in Gaza anymore, as everything has been destroyed, therefore, people cannot work and they depend on donations until this war comes to an end. Everyone has lost their home, your donation will make a difference in their life in order for them to survive.
