Urgent Help Needed: Save My Nephew Al’s Life
Dear friends, kind-hearted supporters, and anyone willing to help,
My nephew Al’s battle with a mysterious illness began in late 2023. He suffered a stroke at a young age—something no child should have to endure. Desperate for answers, we took him to multiple hospitals in Guinea, where doctors repeatedly told us it was just an infection. They prescribed medication, and for a brief moment, we hoped he was recovering. But then, the sickness came back.
Still searching for a cure, we took him to a hospital in Senegal, only to receive the same heartbreaking diagnosis—another infection. Yet, no treatment seemed to work. His condition worsened, and terrifying new symptoms appeared: large, painful bulges began forming under his armpit, chest, and back.
Fearing for his life, we sought out a specialist. After a thorough examination, he advised immediate surgery to remove the masses and conduct a biopsy. Determined to save him, our family came together and raised funds to send him to Congo, where his father lives, for the surgery.
The results confirmed our worst fears—Al was diagnosed with both tuberculosis and a severe infection. We were relieved, believing he was finally on the road to recovery. He began treatment, and for a brief moment, we felt hope again.
But just two weeks later, another bulge appeared on his neck. This time, the fear is overwhelming. His condition is deteriorating rapidly, and doctors in Congo do not have the advanced resources needed to diagnose and treat him properly.
The surgeon is urging us to seek specialized care in a more advanced country—before it’s too late.
How You Can Help
We are desperately trying to raise funds to take Al out of Congo and get him to a European country where he can receive the life-saving treatment he needs—every second counts. We cannot afford to wait and risk his condition worsening beyond recovery.
We humbly ask for your generosity, your kindness, and your support. No amount is too small. Whether you can donate, share his story, or send prayers, your help means everything to us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with Al in his fight for life.
