This application has been rejected by Stockport Council which is fantastic news, however, Man energy have the right to appeal this decision. We need financial support for us to continue to fight this. We do have a professional planner that is advising us and volunteers that are doing a wonderful job.

We are hoping to pursue community ownership so Mirrlee's fields will be in our community forever!

As residents of woodsmoor, we are trying to stop any housing to be built on mirrlees fields. This green space is the only accessible green space that the people of woodsmoor and surrounding areas have access to. It is really important to us as a community, for protecting people's mental health and wellbeing. In addition, the beautiful wildlife that resides on the fields such as badgers, foxes, rabbits, buzzards to mention a few.

Many people walk their dogs, families use this space, joggers, bird watchers, cyclists and so on.

Please help us save this beautiful protected green space for today's and tomorrow's generations. And ultimately, please help save this precious green space that is needed for our community.
