At around midnight thursday 08 september 2022 aliza felt like running herself a bath, she adds bubblebath and is getting ready to relax in a hot bubbly bath, then i hear aliza calling for help, aliza is laying on her bed experiencing a lot of pressure and pain in her chest, she is getting very cold and her left side of her body is num, aliza is having aheart attack for the first time, i immediately i call for an ambulance to take aliza to fourways life hospital, upon arrival the ambulance medical staff gave aliza a disperan, four pain tablets and several injections for pain, connected aliza to the machime to analyse what she is experiencing, they discovered that aliza has a bloodclot in her artery, causing a lack of oxygen to the heart causing the heart attack, aliza needs to go to the hospital immediately, once the problem was established they then proceeded to take aliza down three flights of stairs as aliza stays on the third floor and there is no lift, upon arrival at fourways life hospital on cedar road fourways, the ambulance took aliza to the emergency ward, the hospital staff accepted aliza to the emergency ward and immediately started stabilizing aliza, the night nurse needing to take blood from aliza which needed to be taken from her arteries which left aliza in extreme pain and screeming, the hospital determined that aliza has a blood clot in the artery in her heart, leading to a lack of oxygen to her heart causing aliza to have a heart attack, next step, aliza needs to be admitted to ICU immediately for the cardiologist to give aliza blood thinners to try and dissolve the bloodclot, if not successful the cardiologist then needs to go in and break up the blood clot and then clean the artery from all fragments, this is where aliza needs all the donations possible, the hospital provided aliza with and esttimated bill of R237 000 which needs to be payed before the procedure can proceed, being a private hospital they only accept medical aid, hospital plans or cash upfront, aliza does not have any medical aid, hospital plans nor does aliza have any money to pay for the procedure as aliza is unemployed since she battled hodgkins limfoma cancer several years before, so aliza is having a heart attack and because aliza does not have the funds to pay for the procedure fourways life hospital will not admit aliza to ICU, the night doctor contacts all the general hospitals in johannesburg to see if they have an ICU bed for aliza as government hospitals are free of charge, aliza was taken to fourways life hospital as it is down the road from where aliza stays, there are no ICU beds available at any general hospital and aliza has to wait at fourways life hospital with a heart attack for an ICU bed to come available, a couple of hours go by and there is no ICU bed available at any government hospital any time soon, the night emergency staff at fourways life hospital are starting to panic as aliza needs to be admitted to ICU immediately, with that alizas blood pressure drops to half and all emergency staff are running to stabilise aliza, the hospital later establishes that aliza has three bloosd clots in the three arteries in her heart, the procedure is to clear the first bloodclot and after aliza revovers from the first procedure they then need to go in and clear the two other bloodclots, the procedure is done with local anastetic and extremely uncomfortable and painful but this is the only option in order for aliza to continue living, aliza has a son in capetown battling something himself and aliza also has a daughter in australia and she has a son max three and a daughter lilly she is six years old, aliza wants to see her grandchildren grow into the beautiful people she believes they will, aliza is the most beautiful and best person i know, aliza is very respected and loved by all, aliza has a huge heart, has all her life been most generous to all and always has been for the underdog, the estimated bill provided to aliza by fourways life hospital R237 000 is excluding cardiologists fees and is only for the first procedure and aliza also needs to have the second procedure soon after, please find it in your heart to donate as much as you can so that alizas life will continue and aliza is able to enjoy her grand children and see them grow up
