Alcyone needs a engine

Hi my name is Sarah. 

My dad (Robert Spinks) loved boats and sailing on the Norfolk broads and at sea, he spent many months blood sweat and tears restoring his pride and joy the Alcyone. 

Due to a series of strokes and dementia he could no longer sail, and unfortunately had to make the heartbreaking decision to sell his boat, A seaking wooden sailing boat.

As you can imagine this broke his heart. 

Unfortunately on October 1st 2017 my father passed away.

I’ve made it my mission to find my fathers boat and after 3yrs of searching I’ve finally found Alcyone. 

I have raised the funds to get Alcyone restored. Once the trailer has been adapted to fit Alcyone, Alcyone will be taken to the boat builder.

Alcyone hasn't got a engine and will also need electrics to get Alcyone back on the Norfolk Broads.

For people who have donated/sponsored. I will be putting their names on a plaque. Once boat is finished they will go on Alcyone.
