Hi, my name is Tori and I am fundraising for Albatross Aviary. I started volunteering at the aviary in July when Gairen (the aviary's owner) needed extra help while he went to out of state to hopefully find a new home for him and his flock. A good amount of the aviary was already packed up and Gairen expected to move the birds after his visit. Unfortunately, the facility did not work out so now we are in a bind to find a new home in a small amount of time.

With hitting that dead end, Albatross Aviary finds itself in a dire situation. Facing imminent eviction from their current location, a sizable amount of money is needed to secure a new home for Gairen and the birds. After spending a lot of time with the birds and Gairen, seeing the love and trust in the bonds he has formed with these birds that were deemed too aggressive (nearly to the point of euthanization for some cases) has inspired the other volunteers and me in many ways. We want to support Gairen in his mission to educate people on the proper care of companion birds and provide a loving home for those that need one.

So, my fellow volunteers and I are making this GoFundMe fundraiser to help Albatross Aviary find a new home so we can continue our work and provide a safe and healthy environment for these amazing creatures.
