We’re reaching out for help for our beloved dog, Akira, a 5-year-old Siberian Husky who has suddenly fallen very ill.
Just a few days ago, Akira was his happy, energetic self. But out of nowhere, he stopped eating and became very weak. After three days of not eating, along with vomiting and diarrhea that has traces of blood, we rushed him to the emergency vet. They performed an X-ray, but it didn’t show a clear cause. Despite that, his condition hasn’t improved, and he urgently needs to be hospitalized for 24-hour care and further testing. We are located in Rochester, MN. He's currently at K-M Vet Hospital, Kasson, MN if you want to check the truth.
This has all happened so quickly, and we’re doing everything we can to get him the treatment he needs. The cost of emergency care and hospitalization is more than we can manage on our own, and we don’t want to delay anything that could help save his life.
Akira means everything to us. He’s not just a pet—he’s family. We adopted him back in the parking lot (someone sold him for $300) near Fort Leonard Wood, MO around March 2021, when my husband was stationed for his last duty before retired from the Army last Nov, 2024. He’s been by our side through so much, always bringing energy, love, and comfort into our lives. Seeing him like this is heartbreaking.
We are asking for any support you can give, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this fundraiser. Every bit helps us get Akira the care he desperately needs.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support during this incredibly difficult time.
