Message from Marine
Dear friends, supporters, and kind hearts around the world,
My name is Marine, and I am launching this campaign together with Ahmed Al-Shanti, a graphic designer from Gaza.
We are starting this new campaign to help two families 10 people in total, including 3 children and two elderly parents who have lost everything in the ongoing war.
Your previous support helped them survive the first two extremely difficult years of the genocide. But their homes were completely destroyed, and today they face every day without safety, income, or stability. The funds were essential for their survival as two families and to cover the costs of forced displacement: from Gaza City to Rafah, then to Khan Younis, then back to northern Gaza after the February 2025 ceasefire, and again in September 2025 to Nuseirat, where they now live.
This new campaign on Gofundme represents the next chapter — a chapter focused on daily survival and the hope of finding a small piece of land they can call home again.
Our Mission
We aim to raise $50,000 to:
• Provide daily necessities food, clean water, medicine, and children’s supplies for four families.
• Ensure continuity in the absence of work or any source of income.
• Save for the future to buy a small plot of land and set up tents at first, with the hope of rebuilding modest homes later.
Every contribution big or small is a step toward safety and dignity.
Who We Support
The Al-Shanti Family
- Ahmed, 30, is a graphic designer who supported his entire family through online work. Their home in Gaza was completely destroyed.
- His mother (50) suffers from severe rheumatoid arthritis and needs Humira injections.
- His father (55) has heart disease and high blood pressure.
- His brother Abdullah (28) graduated top of his class but is now without work and without a home.
- Mohammed has been injured since the beginning of the war and suffers greatly from his injury.
- Mustafa graduated from Tawjihi with very good grades but has no financial means to attend university.
- Abdulrahman, the youngest, cannot afford education or treatment for his poor eyesight.
This resilient family now lives among the ruins, struggling every day to secure food, water, and light.
❤️ How Your Support Will Be Used
- Medical care:
Providing Humira injections, blood pressure medication, and essential healthcare for children and the elderly.
- Daily living needs:
Food, clean water, baby milk, hygiene supplies, and solar-powered electricity.
- Temporary shelter:
Renting safe shelter and saving to purchase land and set up tents as the first step toward rebuilding.
- Education and work tools:
Providing Wi-Fi and essential resources to help the younger generation continue studying and working again.
