This is Ace. He’s 50% Pitbull, 25% Mastiff, and 25% Shar-Pei, but 100% good boy. He’s been my best friend for the past 6 years and is now my little girl's best friend. He enjoys people the most and loves going to the local dive bars and hanging with the locals. Because of this, he has become a bit of a local celebrity and is loved by many. He has become an excellent breed ambassador and has changed the minds of many on the Pitbull breed.

Sunday night, Ace developed a problem in his lower back which has paralyzed his back legs. This has been heartbreaking for those who have come to know him, and we are doing everything we can to help him. The best course of action for him would be to go to Jupiter, Florida, and receive an MRI and then possibly receive surgery on his back depending on the diagnosis. The surgery has a roughly 95 percent rate of effectively restoring normal function with only a few weeks of recovery. Without this imaging and surgery, Ace has a low chance of returning to any sense of normal function. The imaging alone is a little over $5k, and the surgery is roughly $10k. Unfortunately, I cannot afford this alone and didn’t want to ask for help, but I’m willing to try anything to save his life. I know he saved mine. Any little bit that you can give will help!! Our goal is to get as close to the cost of the imaging and surgery, but I am going to be doing everything I can, including working overtime and picking up as many odd jobs as I can to scrape up the money.
